To have your lost wages paid through a PIP claim following a car accident often times the first step is to have the 'Wage and Salary Verification' portion of your PIP Benefits Application completed by your employer. Generally, this portion of the PIP Application can be completed by a supervisor or a representative with your companies' Human Resources department. Once this portion of your PIP Application is completed you may also have to submit it to your PIP claim adjuster along with a disability note from your doctor. The disability note should state that you are to remain out of work for a certain period of time due to your accident related injuries. Our office understands that everyones employment situation is unique, and that at times individuals may be unable to follow these rigid requirements. Our office has handled countless PIP claims for lost wages, and are able to adapt to unique circumstances to recoup our client's lost wages.

It is important to note that when your lost wages are paid through a PIP claim, your PIP insurance carrier will only pay 75% of your total lost wages. Often times to re-coup the other 25% a claim must be made against the bodily injury insurance for the other driver involved in your accident.

Our office understands that being unable to work following a car accident is an extremely stressful experience. Our team will work to quickly gather all documentation needed to support your PIP claim for lost wages and demand that your PIP insurance carrier issue said payments in a timely fashion. Our office would be happy to coordinate your PIP claim for lost wage. Contact us now!
